About the Role
You will provide first-line IT and workplace technology support for employees in the Malta office and across the EEA region. You will manage device provisioning and retirement, support business applications and office infrastructure, assist with onboarding and offboarding, troubleshoot endpoint and network issues, maintain technical documentation, and improve support operations through automation and process improvements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, IT Operations, or a similar enterprise technical support environment
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong experience supporting macOS in an enterprise environment
- Experience supporting Google Workspace and Lark Suite
- Understanding of SSO authentication fundamentals, endpoint security, password management, and drive encryption
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, operating systems, networking basics, and endpoint technologies
- Fluent professional English
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently as the sole on-site IT presence in Malta
- Comfort using AI tools for productivity, automation, and documentation
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, business applications, and workplace technology
- Provide first-line support for collaboration, productivity, and business applications
- Manage device provisioning, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, asset inventory, and secure device retirement
- Partner with HR and hiring managers on employee onboarding and offboarding
- Support conference room AV systems, video conferencing, VOIP, printers, CCTV, access control systems, and office infrastructure
- Troubleshoot endpoint, networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, identity, and access issues
- Support Global IT initiatives, office moves, technology refreshes, and security projects
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles, SOPs, and technical documentation
- Manage support requests, maintain SLA adherence, identify recurring issues, and improve IT service delivery
