About the Role
You will set the technical vision and architectural strategy for equity execution platforms. You will lead engineering squads, design reusable cloud-native services, optimize real-time transaction and market-data workflows, build full-stack capabilities, integrate analytics, and translate business needs into technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in enterprise financial environments or institutional FinTechs
- Experience leading Agile engineering squads for equity trading platforms
- Expert hands-on capability with Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and Python
- Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift and CI/CD automation
- Experience designing high-performance, low-latency equity platforms
- Expertise in cash equities, equity swaps, Delta-One, and listed or exotic equity derivatives
- Knowledge of trade lifecycles, STP, and electronic distribution
- Knowledge of TDD, automation, memory profiling, performance stress testing, and clean-code patterns
- Experience or interest in AI coding tools and LLMs
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical vision and evolution of the equity execution ecosystem
- Design reusable services for shared equity execution, pricing, and platform needs
- Lead, mentor, and guide engineering squads
- Establish engineering standards, reusable code patterns, and design reviews
- Design and optimize low-latency transaction flows and real-time market-data distribution
- Build event-driven architectures using WebSockets, AMQ, or Kafka
- Develop server-side architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and Python
- Deliver ReactJS frontends for operational workflows, risk views, and trade lifecycles
- Integrate market data, pricing models, volatility surfaces, and analytics engines
- Evaluate and deploy AI coding assistants, NLP applications, and LLM integrations
- Translate business needs into technical roadmaps and execution plans
