About the Role
You will manage fund-accounting operations and supervise analysts and associates. You will lead fund closings, review NAVs, fees, capital statements, investor returns, expenses, financial statements, compliance requests, and corporate reporting. You will also coordinate with internal stakeholders, administrators, and auditors.
Requirements
- 8-15 years of relevant accounting experience
- Financial-services experience
- Asset-management or alternative-investment experience preferred
- Private-credit experience highly preferred
- Accounting degree preferred
- CPA preferred
Responsibilities
- Close fund books monthly and quarterly with fund administrators
- Calculate and review management-fee and incentive-fee waterfalls
- Review partners' capital statements
- Review capital-call and distribution calculations and notices
- Review fund expenses, accruals, and payments
- Review investor return and NAV estimates
- Prepare and review GAAP financial statements
- Support corporate reporting and compliance requests
- Manage fund-accounting operations and team members
