About the Role

You will maintain the general ledger and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile and analyze accounts, maintain revenue-recognition schedules, and resolve variances. You will support accounts payable, tax filings, financial audits, financial statements, annual tax-return data collection, 401(k) audits, investor requests, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to identify accounting issues and solve challenges proactively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, including accruals, depreciation, and prepaid-expense amortization.
• Reconcile cash, prepaid accounts, fixed assets, liabilities, equity, and other accounts.
• Analyze account balances, maintain reconciliation support, research variances, and propose resolutions.
• Maintain revenue-recognition schedules.
• Review purchase invoices for proper general-ledger coding and posting dates.
• Prepare use-tax and property-tax returns.
• Support the annual financial audit by responding to auditor requests and preparing schedules and records.
• Assist with annual financial statements and related disclosures.
• Collect and provide data for annual tax returns.
• Assist with the annual 401(k) audit.
• Respond to investor information requests.
• Support special projects and other assigned duties.
