About the Role

You will develop and strengthen relationships with investment consulting firms in the assigned geography. You will represent the full product line, generate buy-ratings, identify and pursue opportunities within consultant client rosters, coordinate with institutional sales colleagues, and document consultant interactions in the CRM system. You will also share relevant investment expertise and thought leadership, maintain knowledge of consultant firms and the competitive landscape, and build internal relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrable track record of raising assets with consultants, institutional investors, or the wealth channel.
  • Private markets experience.
  • Understanding of assigned investment consulting firms and different client organization perspectives.
  • Ability to establish and execute a sales strategy.
  • Relationship development and management skills.
  • Ability to speak credibly about new investments and developments within client portfolios.
  • Problem-solving, organization, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the full product line and develop relationships with research professionals, field consultants, and senior executives at investment consulting firms.
  • Maintain an understanding of assigned investment consulting firms, including their strategy, competitors, clients, decision-makers, manager selection processes, and communication preferences.
  • Generate buy-ratings and position investment strategies and services.
  • Identify business development opportunities within consultant client rosters and coordinate with institutional sales colleagues to target and close them.
  • Represent the firm as a consultative thought leader, presenter, speaker, and contributor to content pieces.
  • Introduce relevant investment professionals and timely thought leadership to enhance consultant relationships.
  • Document interactions with consultants in the CRM system.
  • Build internal relationships and stay current on strategy, investments, and the competitive landscape.
