About the Role
You will develop physics-based and data-driven vehicle dynamics models and integrate them into the software stack. You will validate models against on-road and experimental data, improve their accuracy and efficiency, evaluate vehicle-performance metrics, and share findings with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience developing mathematical models and simulation algorithms for vehicle dynamics, robotics, or control systems
- Understanding of classical mechanics, numerical analysis, and computational methods
- Experience validating simulation models against experimental data
- C++ or Python software-development experience
Responsibilities
- Develop virtual vehicle models using physics-based and data-driven techniques
- Create mathematical and physical models of vehicles and subsystems
- Validate models against on-road data and implement correlation improvements
- Convert models into efficient software components that meet accuracy, performance, and scalability requirements
- Own tools, processes, and experiments for evaluating on-road vehicle-performance metrics
- Plan, execute, and analyse experimental tests to improve model accuracy
- Share results and insights with stakeholders
