About the Role
You will support export compliance activities, assess licensing requirements and apply for licences or exemptions. You will respond to technology-transfer queries, run compliance checks, maintain export records, arrange UK shipments when needed and provide practical trade compliance guidance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in trade compliance, preferably in the high-tech industry
- Experience with US EAR regulations
- Experience arranging or supporting international shipments
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication and reporting skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work with internal stakeholders and respond to queries
Responsibilities
- Assist with export licensing determinations and export control compliance
- Apply for export licences or determine appropriate licence exemptions
- Respond to internal technology-transfer queries, including deemed exports
- Run compliance checks on suppliers, customers and other relevant parties
- Maintain accurate and complete export-related records
- Provide cover for the Senior Logistics Coordinator, including arranging UK shipments
- Provide practical trade compliance guidance to Supply Chain and Operations teams
