About the Role
You will own category strategies and sourcing for critical components and assemblies. You will run RFx processes, negotiate commercial agreements, manage supplier and supply risks, align technical and commercial decisions, build supply-chain processes, and achieve cost targets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sourcing or procurement experience in high-volume consumer electronics
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading cross-functional sourcing work with engineering, operations, finance, legal, and NPI teams
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally often with short notice
Responsibilities
- Define and own category strategies for critical components and assemblies
- Lead RFx processes and negotiate commercial agreements
- Assess capacity, geopolitical, logistics, technology, and commercial risks
- Partner on component, module, and assembly decisions during early design
- Align pricing, capacity allocation, and technical issues with supply chain partners
- Build processes, templates, and reports for the US supply chain function
- Achieve cost targets through should-cost modeling, market analysis, and negotiations
