About the Role
You will own a defined engineering project that improves testing, regression, reliability analysis, or test-data workflows. You will help execute and document software and integrated robotic-system tests, analyze results, improve tools and automation, and present your project findings at the end of the internship.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related technical discipline, with graduation expected between December 2027 and May 2028
- Ability to work onsite in Pittsburgh Monday through Friday for the full Summer 2027 internship
- Foundational programming experience in Python or another general-purpose programming language
- Experience writing, testing, or debugging software
- Interest in software testing, reliability, robotics, embedded systems, or complex physical systems
- Written and verbal technical communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own a scoped engineering project that improves a test, regression, reliability-analysis, or test-data workflow
- Plan, execute, and document software and integrated robotic-system tests
- Analyze test results and recommend improvements to test coverage and repeatability
- Develop tooling, automation, scripts, or documentation for more efficient testing
- Collaborate with engineers and partner teams on validation requirements
- Present project results and recommended next steps at the end of the internship
