About the Role
You will coordinate launch campaigns and external mission dependencies for space defense programs. You will assess flight opportunities, manage integration and launch readiness, maintain mission plans, translate external requirements into internal actions, coordinate stakeholders, support contracts and approvals, and report risks and decisions. You will drive actions to completion while keeping engineering focused on technical execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, science, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience managing technically complex or regulated programs
- At least one year of full-time startup or small-company experience
- Experience coordinating between internal technical organizations and external stakeholders
- Experience managing external deliverables, approvals, contractual commitments, schedules, risks, and decisions
- Ability to understand technical documentation and work with subject-matter experts
- Negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
- Current authorization to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Assess launch and rideshare opportunities
- Coordinate launch campaigns from flight selection through launch execution
- Serve as the working-level contact for customers, launch providers, regulators, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Build and maintain integrated mission plans
- Interpret mission documentation and translate requirements into internal actions
- Facilitate external meetings and obtain decisions
- Manage contracts, regulatory items, and non-engineering dependencies
- Provide leadership updates on status, risks, dependencies, exposure, and decisions
