About the Role
You will document technical accounting policies, advise on investments, acquisitions, and partnerships, and review monthly financials for policy adherence. You will lead audit and IPO-readiness work, ensure financial-statement presentation and disclosure compliance, and improve finance tooling and processes using AI.
Requirements
- CPA license
- 2-5+ years at a Big Four firm, preferably serving public companies
- 2-5+ years of in-house experience at a high-growth enterprise software company
- Proficiency in US GAAP
- Ability to identify improvements and build solutions using AI
- Ability to drive operational efficiency and scale the accounting function
- Process design, automation, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Document technical accounting policies
- Advise on strategic investments, acquisitions, and partnerships
- Review monthly financials for adherence to accounting policies
- Coordinate quarterly and annual audit requirements with the external audit firm
- Review balance-sheet, income-statement, and cash-flow-statement presentation
- Ensure compliance with financial-statement disclosure requirements
- Enhance finance technology and develop an AI-first approach
