About the Role

You will lead SEC reporting, filings, disclosures, financial statements, technical accounting, and SOX compliance. You will coordinate reporting calendars and inputs, prepare materials for leadership and governance bodies, research complex transactions, implement standards and controls, and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and advisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Active CPA license
• 10-12+ years of progressive accounting experience
• SEC reporting and SOX compliance experience
• Expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and public-company disclosures
• Experience managing SOX 404 compliance programs and internal control frameworks
• Technical accounting research and memorandum preparation experience
• Experience with NetSuite, ActiveDisclosure or Workiva, and equity administration platforms preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead SEC reporting strategy and filing execution
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, disclosure checklists, XBRL tagging, and workpapers
• Manage quarterly and annual reporting calendars
• Coordinate disclosure inputs across internal functions
• Prepare materials for the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and senior management
• Provide technical accounting guidance and disclosure recommendations
• Research and document conclusions on complex accounting matters
• Implement and evolve the SOX compliance framework
• Develop financial reporting and internal-control policies and governance
• Serve as primary liaison with external auditors
• Oversee third-party advisor relationships
• Advise executive leadership on financial reporting, compliance, and risk management
