About the Role
You will lead and coach Trust & Safety Analysts across fraud operations and dispute workflows. You will manage daily performance, escalations, quality, productivity, and SLA adherence. You will use operational data and QA insights to improve playbooks, controls, decision-making, automation, and operational scalability.
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of people-management experience leading analyst teams in a high-risk operational environment
- Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring, fraud alerts, disputes, and chargebacks
- Knowledge of fraud typologies including account takeover, scams, payment fraud, synthetic identity, friendly fraud, mule activity, and suspicious transaction patterns
- Knowledge of the chargeback lifecycle, representment, dispute evidence, reason codes, and Visa and Mastercard rules
- Experience leading high-volume operational teams while maintaining quality, productivity, SLAs, and risk decisioning
- Experience managing escalations, incidents, urgent risk events, and time-sensitive workflows
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify root causes and trends, and implement improvements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience improving processes, playbooks, decision frameworks, and operational initiatives
- Ability to use AI, automation, workflow, and productivity tools
- Interest in crypto, fintech, payments, and digital finance
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach Trust & Safety Analysts across fraud operations and disputes workflows
- Own daily performance across fraud alerts, transaction monitoring, manual reviews, disputes, escalations, productivity, quality, and SLA adherence
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex cases and make timely, consistent, risk-based decisions
- Document and communicate priorities, risks, escalations, and decisions clearly
- Partner with L2 Analysts on calibration, knowledge gaps, policies, risk frameworks, and card network rules
- Use QA insights and operational data to coach analysts and improve playbooks and decision-making
- Identify fraud trends, chargeback trends, bottlenecks, control gaps, and emerging risks
- Lead process redesign, workflow optimization, tooling, automation, and AI-enabled operational improvements
- Collaborate with other teams to improve fraud controls, dispute outcomes, customer experience, and scalability
