About the Role

You will own end-to-end tax compliance across Colombia, Mexico, Panama, and Peru. You will manage tax filings, coordinate external advisors, maintain compliance controls, respond to audits and regulatory requests, advise Finance, Product, and Operations, monitor tax-law changes, develop the regional team, and improve reporting and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 6+ years of tax compliance experience
  • 3+ years in a Big Four firm or multinational company
  • Strong knowledge of Colombian tax regulations
  • Experience with Mexico, Peru, or Panama tax compliance is an advantage
  • Fluent English, written and verbal
  • FinTech, payments, or financial services experience is preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and multi-jurisdiction coordination skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly and annual CIT, VAT, WHT, and municipal tax filings
  • Review and coordinate external tax advisors
  • Maintain compliance controls and filing documentation
  • Lead responses to tax audits, inquiries, and regulatory requests
  • Provide tax guidance to Finance, Product, and Operations
  • Monitor tax-law changes and regulatory developments
  • Lead and develop the regional tax team
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements
