About the Role
You will serve as the primary finance advisor to DataVantage leadership, lead financial reviews, and deliver quantitative and qualitative analyses for monthly reviews, Board reports, earnings calls, external reporting, and ad hoc requests. You will translate financial data into actionable recommendations for pricing, resource allocation, and business performance; manage budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial models; oversee revenue and expense recording; improve financial systems and automation; track business metrics and financial KPIs; partner with Sales on targets, commissions, bonuses, and dashboards; support receivables collections, billing, data analysis, and audits; and manage and develop Billing and Business Intelligence associates.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience including FP&A corporate finance or other financial roles
- 2+ years of experience working with executives and preparing executive- and Board-level communications
- Clear communication style with the ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Advanced Excel experience
- SQL or Business Intelligence tool experience especially Sigma
- Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field
- CPA preferred
- Experience in financial data market data fintech or SaaS/subscription businesses preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance advisor to DataVantage leadership
- Lead financial reviews and deliver quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Provide data and commentary for monthly reviews Board reports Quarterly Earnings calls external financial reporting and ad hoc requests
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for pricing resource allocation and business performance
- Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
- Communicate performance drivers to business and corporate stakeholders
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenues and expenses
- Own annual budgeting quarterly forecasting and long-range planning
- Coordinate across DataVantage businesses and maintain financial models
- Improve financial systems and financial reporting
- Track and report ARR sales customer retention and financial KPIs
- Partner with Sales to create sales and revenue targets
- Validate commissions and cross-sell bonuses
- Create Sigma dashboards to illustrate sales performance
- Lead and support automation of receivables collections
- Automate billing data collection and data analysis processes
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Manage and develop Billing and Business Intelligence associates
