About the Role
You will lead integration and testing for rocket motor systems, including test preparation, execution, analysis, anomaly resolution, and technical reviews. You will develop test plans and software, coordinate with stakeholders and customers, ensure safety compliance, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related STEM field
- Seven to ten years of hands-on test engineering experience
- Rocket motor integration and testing experience
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Experience integrating and testing complex hardware and software systems
- Advanced proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, Python, and Simulink
- Experience with RS-422, RS-485, and CAN protocols
- Knowledge of MIL-STD and aerospace qualification and acceptance testing
- Experience with DAQ systems, instrumentation, controls, test automation, and simulation tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Clearance
- U.S. Person eligibility under export regulations
Responsibilities
- Lead rocket motor integration and test activities
- Develop and standardize test plans, procedures, and data-collection strategies
- Oversee SWIL and HWIL test software and hardware development
- Mentor less experienced engineers
- Communicate test results, status, and issues to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and engineering standards
- Drive improvements to test processes, tools, and methodologies
- Lead test readiness and technical reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve test anomalies
- Apply controls and systems engineering principles to test systems
