Established in 2018, Matters Lab develops a Web3 social-media ecosystem intended to give creators greater ownership, monetization, and governance over digital content. Its offerings include Matters.Town, a decentralized publishing platform using IPFS; Billboard, an on-chain advertising and matching-fund mechanism on Optimism; The Space, a draw-to-earn on-chain pixel canvas; and Traveloggers/Logbook NFT collaboration experiments. The company serves creators and communities, while also providing open-source resources for developers and opportunities for advertisers and investors.

About the Role
You will support and run back-end operations for a distributed team. You will take charge of office and administrative work, assist with bookkeeping, accounting and tax coordination with external financial teams, and conduct legal research to inform the product. You will work with founders on recruiting, design and implement a team benefits system, and help execute business and branding strategies. You will manage multiple tasks across regions and maintain strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- 2+ years of working experience
- Strong self-learning and self-driving ability
- Basic knowledge of Web3 and crypto
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Take charge of office and administrative work to support team members across regions
- Assist in financial management including bookkeeping, accounting, and tax with external financial teams
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support product development
