About the Role
You will oversee daily operations in Senegal, resolve growth-blocking problems, and operationalize strategic objectives. You will manage functional leaders, lead key country projects, hire local talent, develop partnerships, and share operational insights that inform broader strategy.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of senior leadership or executive experience in mobile money, finance, fintech, telecoms, or technology
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration
- 8 or more years of experience building and leading teams
- Experience managing stakeholders through strategic reporting for external partners
- Experience building country-level and multi-country partnerships in Africa
- Work authorization in Senegal
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily business operations in Senegal
- Identify and resolve problems blocking business growth
- Operationalize strategies with the Executive Team
- Directly manage key functional managers
- Develop and execute strategy for key Senegal projects
- Advocate for the team within the company
- Identify and hire local talent with the People Team
- Share Senegal insights and learnings to inform global strategy
