About the Role
You will plan and execute propulsion development across engine hardware, subsystems, testing, and aircraft integration. You will manage schedules, risks, suppliers, resources, and deliverables; facilitate technical reviews and integration discussions; and communicate program status and actions to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of technical program management or engineering leadership experience in aerospace or complex hardware development
- Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams
- Understanding of engineering development cycles, hardware testing, and system integration
- Experience managing schedules, technical risks, and program execution
- Experience managing suppliers and external development partners
- Ability to comply with ITAR requirements
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute propulsion development activities
- Align propulsion schedules with vehicle milestones and flight-readiness objectives
- Coordinate propulsion, design, fluids, controls, airframe, manufacturing, supply chain, and flight-test work
- Track technical progress and drive risk mitigation
- Manage propulsion suppliers and external partners
- Communicate program status, risks, and actions
- Facilitate technical reviews and integration discussions
- Coordinate propulsion test campaigns and development deliverables
- Drive accountability for measurable outcomes
