About the Role
You will lead complex robotics automation projects from automation concept and requirements definition through system specification, development and manufacturing management, on-site deployment, launch, and post-launch improvements. You will make technical trade-off decisions across scope, quality, cost, schedule, and risk while coordinating customers, vendors, and specialist engineers.
Requirements
- Practical experience implementing industrial equipment, automation equipment, FA, or logistics systems
- Experience participating from requirements definition or concept development through equipment deployment and launch
- Experience leading multiple stakeholders as a project manager or project leader
- Experience making technical and project decisions considering QCD and risk
- Business-level Japanese
- Willingness to communicate in English
Responsibilities
- Develop automation concepts, requirements, and project plans based on customer business and operational challenges
- Define system specifications and cost structures for integrated robots, end effectors, equipment, and software
- Manage schedules, costs, quality, risks, and development progress
- Lead decision-making, consensus building, and negotiations among customers, vendors, and specialist engineers
- Complete projects from internal validation through on-site deployment, launch, and operational improvement
