About the Role
You will design and specify components across the grid-to-chip power chain and build test environments for validation. You will create test hardware and custom prototypes perform high-power and reliability testing support production transitions and resolve complex power hardware and firmware issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of power electronics
- Experience with power system and power delivery architecture design and development
- Experience testing high-voltage and high-power systems
- Proficiency in power hardware and firmware development and debugging
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multifaceted environment
Responsibilities
- Design and specify components and systems in the grid-to-chip power chain
- Build test environments and perform engineering testing and validation
- Design test hardware fixtures loads and devices for varied loading conditions
- Perform function robustness reliability high-power cycle high-bandwidth power and energy storage testing
- Design and prototype custom power conversion components
- Support transitions from validation into manufacturing and production
- Ensure IT power remains robust during grid disturbances
- Guide manufacturers ODMs and engineering teams on testing and validation procedures
- Resolve complex power hardware and firmware issues
