About the Role
You will maintain and evolve monitoring systems, investigate failures, diagnose root causes, write fixes, improve pipeline performance, and optimize machine learning and GPU workloads. You will contribute to development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, upgrades, and operational support for research and trading systems.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 or more years of production engineering or trade support experience
- Experience solving problems with code in a live trading environment
- Strong Python and C++ development skills
- Strong Linux and Bash skills
- Hands-on debugging ability
- Ability to work independently in high-stakes environments
- Reliable availability during trading hours when needed
- Ability to reason through quantitative problems
- Effective communication with quantitative researchers and engineers
- Experience with CI/CD infrastructure as code containerization or observability tooling
- Familiarity with distributed large-scale systems
