About the Role
You will own the SmartVista processing ecosystem, make architecture decisions, and lead engineering standards and incident response. You will improve processing controls, deliver card-scheme integrations and certifications, build monitoring and dashboards, automate operational workflows and deployments, and develop practical AI-driven processing solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on card-processing experience across authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, and reconciliation
- At least 2 years in a senior, lead, or architect role
- SmartVista FrontEnd or BackOffice experience, or deep experience with a comparable platform
- Visa and Mastercard certification experience
- Knowledge of ISO 8583, Visa Base I/II, and Mastercard IPM/CIS
- Python, SQL or PL/SQL, and Bash
- CI/CD, test automation, and API testing experience
- Production AI or ML experience
- Oracle DB, WebLogic, Linux, REST, SOAP, and HTTP knowledge
- Knowledge of EMV, HSM, key management, PCI DSS, tokenization, and 3-D Secure
- Fluent English
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end SmartVista processing architecture
- Lead processing engineers, engineering standards, solution reviews, and major incident response
- Manage SmartVista vendor releases, patches, defects, and change requests
- Map processing processes and remediate operational gaps
- Implement card products and services for payment schemes
- Translate scheme specifications into technical solutions and lead certification projects
- Configure and develop SmartVista products, services, and business rules
- Design and implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and health checks
- Automate reconciliation, settlement, scheme-file exchange, testing, releases, and deployments
- Develop AI-driven anomaly detection, alerting, root-cause analysis, and scheme-analysis solutions
