About the Role
You will lead robotic-system architecture and complex mechatronic subsystems across mechanical, electrical, and controls domains. You will define requirements, conduct trade studies and reviews, mitigate technical risks, validate solutions with customers, guide product roadmaps, and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on.
Requirements
- 12 or more years of mechatronics, robotics, or automation engineering experience
- Background in industrial robotics, automation systems, or complex machinery
- Experience owning system-level designs through deployment
- Knowledge of electromechanical systems and controls integration
- Experience leading technical projects or acting as a technical lead
- Ability to make architecture-level decisions
- Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Responsibilities
- Lead system-level design and architecture of robotic automation solutions
- Own complex mechatronic subsystems across mechanical, electrical, and controls domains
- Provide technical leadership for robotic cell design, integration, and performance
- Drive requirements definition, trade studies, and design reviews
- Partner with software, controls, manufacturing, and field teams
- Mentor engineers
- Support customer technical discussions and solution validation
- Identify and mitigate technical risks
- Influence product and platform roadmap decisions
