About the Role
You will support hardware engineering work by designing, documenting, building, testing, and debugging engineering designs. You will create CAD parts, assemble electromechanical fixtures, develop robot motion scripts, manage BOMs and ECOs, contribute to PLC systems, and investigate system failures.
Requirements
- Pursue a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Demonstrate familiarity with testing complex integrated hardware and software systems
- Demonstrate familiarity with Python
- Demonstrate knowledge of complex electromechanical applications
- Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with designing, documenting, building, testing, and debugging engineering designs
- Design parts for manufacturing processes using CAD
- Assemble electromechanical assemblies and fixtures
- Debug mechanical and electromechanical bot systems and components
- Develop and execute Python robot motion scripts
- Create and manage bills of materials and engineering change orders
- Contribute to PLC hardware and software design and implementation
- Inform reliability test plans
- Conduct root-cause analysis of system failures
