About the Role
You will manage export and import compliance processes for robotics hardware, software, and dual-use technologies. You will perform screening, licensing, audits, classifications, declarations, FTZ administration, documentation reviews, and compliance tracking while advising stakeholders on trade risks.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of import/export trade compliance, international logistics, or supply-chain experience
- Experience using the ACE government platform
- Experience assigning ECCN and HTS classifications
- Knowledge of EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and dual-use compliance
- Problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations
- Perform denied-party screening for international partners, customers, and vendors
- Manage export licensing applications, provisos, and tracking
- Lead trade compliance audits and corrective-action plans
- Oversee Free Trade Zone admissions, inventory, and reporting
- Review shipping terms and contracts and maintain compliance documentation
- Assign and verify HTS codes and ECCN designations
- Track compliance workflows and metrics using Salesforce and trade software
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers
- Monitor export controls, sanctions, and customs rules
- Prepare and file export and import declarations
- Support EU compliance activities
