About the Role
You will design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting customer-engagement applications. You will build and optimize data storage, monitor distributed systems, resolve performance issues, improve architecture, and help ensure services are secure, scalable, and reliable. You will collaborate on end-to-end solutions, participate in reviews and testing, and write maintainable backend code.
Requirements
- Proven backend engineering experience focused on database design and system architecture
- Expertise in ClickHouse or similar columnar databases for large-scale real-time analytical queries
- Experience with Elasticsearch for indexing and searching large datasets
- Proficiency in Python and Go
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with performance tuning, data modeling, and query optimization
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs
- Build and optimize data storage solutions using Postgres, ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in distributed systems and databases
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient backend code
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration efforts
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of backend services
- Analyze and improve system architecture, performance bottlenecks, scaling, and security
