About the Role
You will independently scope and deliver complex backend projects, make architectural decisions that improve reliability and scalability, and stay hands-on with code. You will align product, engineering, and research stakeholders, translate model improvements into products, and help peers operate and grow effectively.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant backend or product engineering experience
- Experience leading complex multi-month projects or teams as a technical lead
- Strong coding fundamentals
- Experience with backend systems, APIs, and integrations
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale production backend systems
- Experience with distributed systems, API design, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to align technical and non-technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience

- Lead complex backend projects from scoping through delivery
