About the Role
You will own the MHE Vision autonomy software stack, including perception, localization, and inventory-scanning pipelines on embedded vehicle hardware. You will design reliable algorithms, improve scanning accuracy and sensor integration, maintain cloud data handoffs, and troubleshoot deployed systems using field observations and logs.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- At least 3 years building autonomy, robotics, or perception systems on production hardware
- C++

- Embedded or resource-constrained computing
- Computer vision pipelines
- Camera-based detection, localization, or tracking
- Deployed-system debugging
- Log-based diagnosis
- Staff-level technical direction and architecture ownership
Responsibilities
- Own perception, localization, and inventory-scanning pipelines on embedded vehicle hardware
- Contribute to the architecture of the autonomy stack
- Document existing systems and plan future revisions
- Lead design improvements and testing
- Design and implement inventory-detection and location-recording algorithms
- Improve scan accuracy, coverage, sensor integration, and coordination with ML models
- Build and maintain scan triggering, location mapping, and cloud data-handoff systems
- Diagnose and resolve issues on deployed systems using logs and field observations
