About the Role
You will lead engineers building secure frameworks and libraries for sensitive data. You will own framework quality and support, guide teams on security design patterns, align integrations with security controls, prioritize roadmaps by risk, measure adoption, and grow a high-performing team.
Requirements
- 3+ years managing security engineering teams
- 5+ years of hands-on security and software engineering experience
- Expertise in securing complex architectures, threat modeling, and risk assessment
- Ability to evaluate security tradeoffs and make risk-based decisions
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with technical internal customers
- Familiarity with AI safety concepts and frameworks
Responsibilities
- Design frameworks and libraries for secure handling of sensitive data
- Own framework user experience, monitoring, and support
- Provide security design-pattern guidance to other teams
- Partner with product, research, infrastructure, and security teams
- Prioritize framework roadmaps based on security risk
- Define metrics for framework adoption and impact
- Manage and grow engineers delivering high-impact security projects
