About the Role

You oversee a technology team, hire and develop engineers, drive delivery quality and reliability, manage engineering metrics, optimize workflows, coordinate with product teams, and contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7–10 years of software engineering experience
  • At least 1 year in a people management or supervisory role overseeing engineering squads
  • Experience designing and developing scalable solutions using event-driven architecture and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably GCP or AWS
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices
  • Experience collaborating with SRE teams on SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs
  • Experience with hiring, talent retention, performance management, and capacity planning
  • Cloud certification
  • Experience with legacy modernization or cloud migration
  • Modern backend experience with JDK 17+ or Spring Boot, or modern front-end experience
  • Familiarity with JUnit, Selenium, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
  • Financial Services or FinTech experience

  • Integrate product teams with client-focused areas
  • Optimize workflow and communication
  • Develop technical visions and system designs
  • Participate in architectural decisions and EOSL planning
