About the Role
You oversee a technology team, hire and develop engineers, drive delivery quality and reliability, manage engineering metrics, optimize workflows, coordinate with product teams, and contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7–10 years of software engineering experience
- At least 1 year in a people management or supervisory role overseeing engineering squads
- Experience designing and developing scalable solutions using event-driven architecture and RESTful APIs
- Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably GCP or AWS
- Understanding of CI/CD practices
- Experience collaborating with SRE teams on SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs
- Experience with hiring, talent retention, performance management, and capacity planning
- Cloud certification
- Experience with legacy modernization or cloud migration
- Modern backend experience with JDK 17+ or Spring Boot, or modern front-end experience
- Familiarity with JUnit, Selenium, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
- Financial Services or FinTech experience
