About the Role

Own the technical architecture for trading products, client-facing portals, and internal applications. Lead and mentor engineers, set technical direction, build high-volume real-time systems, oversee frontend experiences, and establish engineering processes while remaining hands-on with the codebase.

Requirements

8+ years of software engineering experience
At least 3 years in a technical leadership role
Architecture experience with complex data-intensive applications
Experience building and scaling real-time, high-data-volume systems
TypeScript, React, and Node.js
Backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
End-to-end system architecture
APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, WebSockets, message queues, and databases
CI/CD, cloud platforms, CDN, monitoring and observability, and deployment strategies
OWASP, authentication and authorization patterns, and secure data handling
Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers

Responsibilities

Define and own technical architecture for trading products, portals, and applications
Lead and mentor a full-stack engineering team
Set standards for code quality and engineering practices
Drive technical strategy and roadmap
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Architect high-volume real-time systems
Oversee frontend experiences across the customer lifecycle
Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and delivery
