About the Role
You will own billing infrastructure for consumer subscriptions and build promotions, communications, payment, compliance, bundling, and personalization systems. You will develop key product features, ensure reliability and scalability, and recruit, build, and lead the Consumer Subscriptions engineering team.
Requirements
- Software engineering experience building large-scale, high-stakes systems
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence or manage engineering teams
- Experience delivering complex backend systems for consumer applications at scale
- Experience with revenue-generating products and user experiences
Responsibilities
- Own consumer-subscription billing infrastructure
- Design promotional-offer infrastructure and internal tools
- Develop push, email, and in-app communications systems
- Implement market-specific billing methods and compliance solutions
- Architect product bundles for different markets and consumer needs
- Build models and systems for personalized messages and offers
- Recruit, build, and lead the Consumer Subscriptions engineering team
- Develop key X Premium and SuperGrok features
