About the Role
You will own top-of-funnel sourcing for technical roles, research difficult talent markets, and engage and qualify candidates. You will create personalized outreach, manage multiple searches with accurate pipeline data, and share market intelligence with recruiters and hiring managers. You will track funnel performance and help calibrate role scope and search strategy.
Requirements
- 6+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, including in-house sourcing at a high-growth technology company
- Mastery of Boolean and X-ray search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, technical communities, publication and conference sources, and CRM or ATS workflows
- Experience managing multiple high-volume, high-urgency technical searches
- Fluency in technical skill sets and ability to assess candidate relevance
- Experience sourcing for AI or machine learning, data science, data infrastructure, distributed systems, or security engineering
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use funnel metrics to guide sourcing effort
- Data hygiene and attention to detail
- Candidate-first approach based on empathy, transparency, and follow-through
Responsibilities
- Own top-of-funnel sourcing strategy and execution for technical roles
- Conduct market, organization, competitor, conference, publication, open-source, and community research
- Source niche technical talent in AI, machine learning, research, distributed systems, and security
- Write and test personalized candidate outreach
- Manage multiple searches with disciplined follow-up and accurate ATS data
- Build market maps, talent-density views, and competitive hiring insights
- Build diverse technical pipelines
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers on calibration and search strategy
- Track and report response rates, screen pass rates, and stage conversion
- Represent Plaid in candidate interactions
