About the Role
You will own the roadmap for the observability platform, including telemetry, logs, metrics, traces, APIs, dashboards, and alerting. You will partner with technical stakeholders to improve fleet visibility, incident response, telemetry coverage, and platform reliability. You will also mentor junior product managers.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of product management experience
- Experience owning observability, infrastructure, or operations-facing products
- Experience building observability stacks for logs, metrics, and traces
- Experience with Prometheus, Loki, Mimir, Datadog, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
- Experience with data-centre deployment tooling or infrastructure automation
- Technical fluency in telemetry pipelines, time-series storage, alerting, and integrations
- Strong written and verbal communication
Responsibilities
- Own the observability platform roadmap
- Define telemetry capture, aggregation, and observability surfaces
- Own and optimise the alerting strategy
- Prioritise telemetry requirements across hardware, sites, and deployments
- Turn incident and operations findings into platform capabilities
- Define and drive fleet observability metrics
- Mentor junior product managers
