About the Role
You will lead systems engineering across compute, camera, and radio product lifecycles. You will develop requirements, architecture, interfaces, verification plans, test flows, specifications, and design documentation while coordinating technical work across engineering disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or systems engineering
- At least 8 years of experience with a bachelor's degree
- Requirements-management software such as JAMA or DOORS
- Technical product-development leadership
- Flight-software systems experience
- Ground-system software and mission-operations experience
- Embedded software-development experience
- Embedded processor or microcontroller experience with RTOS or bare-metal systems
- Software configuration management and issue-tracking tools experience
- Agile development experience
- Embedded interface bus and protocol experience
- C, C++, Python, or scripting and test language experience
- Must be a U.S. Person and eligible for required export authorizations
Responsibilities
- Develop requirements verification and compliance matrices
- Design system architecture, block diagrams, and subsystem interconnections
- Define internal and external interfaces and control documents
- Perform analysis, optimization activities, and trade studies
- Support system integration, verification, and validation
- Develop verification, qualification, acceptance, and production test plans
- Develop product specifications and design documentation
- Provide technical leadership to engineering design teams
