About the Role
You will create test plans, procedures, cases, and reports for mission-autonomy integration and verification. You will maintain requirements traceability, assess test-facility readiness, review testability of requirements, investigate issues, and support flight-autonomy testing.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related subject
- 6-9 years of integration, verification, or systems-engineering experience
- Experience integrating and testing flight-control systems with machine learning or autonomy
- Flight-control-system integration and verification experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and find root causes during integration and verification
- Experience with requirements-management tools and processes
- Ability to develop test-facility requirements, architecture, and interfaces and perform validation and verification
Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, procedures, and cases for mission-autonomy integration and verification
- Produce test reports and problem reports
- Maintain traceability among requirements, test cases, and test procedures
- Align test deliverables with program schedules
- Assess test strategies and test-facility support
- Review requirements for testability and identify gaps
- Ensure test facilities are configured for formal testing
- Support integration and verification of flight autonomy on air-vehicle platforms
- Perform change-control and change-impact analysis for test artifacts
