About the Role
You will lead requirements development, verification planning and execution, technical risk management, and MBSE artifacts for missile-defense programs. You will coordinate with engineering stakeholders, support technical reviews and configuration control, and contribute to planning, schedules, and engineering deliverables.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of systems engineering experience in DoD, aerospace, or missile defense programs
- Experience in requirements development, verification planning, and risk management
- Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency processes, technical reviews, and CDRL development
- Hands-on MBSE and SysML modeling experience using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related STEM field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
- U.S. Person status
Responsibilities
- Maintain system, subsystem, and interface requirements and traceability
- Develop verification plans, procedures, and compliance matrices
- Plan and support system-level verification events
- Conduct technical risk assessments and maintain mitigation plans
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Communicate requirements changes, verification status, and risk posture with customers and suppliers
- Develop and maintain SysML MBSE artifacts using Cameo or MagicDraw
- Participate in configuration management, change control, and design reviews
- Support technical planning, schedule alignment, and engineering-deliverable tracking
