About the Role
You will develop and refine the LRV system architecture, integrating avionics, hydraulics, electrical power, navigation, and launch and recovery systems. You will define system behavior and fault responses, manage requirements traceability, develop operational concepts, conduct trade studies, and support integration, ground testing, flight testing, and stakeholder alignment.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree
- Experience defining system architecture, behavior logic, and operational modes for complex electromechanical systems
- Experience integrating avionics, hydraulic systems, electrical power distribution, and navigation
- Proficiency with MBSE tools such as SysML, Cameo, or DOORS
- Experience developing or applying CONOPs
- Background in system integration, testing, and performance validation
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and relevant military standards
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Ability to obtain an S//SAR security clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine the LRV system architecture
- Integrate avionics, hydraulics, electrical power distribution, navigation, and launch and recovery mechanisms
- Define and document LRV modes, states, transitions, and fault responses
- Support safety analyses under fault conditions
- Establish and decompose system requirements and maintain traceability
- Develop transportation and deployment CONOPs
- Conduct trade studies and assess technical risks
- Support LRV integration, ground testing, verification, flight testing, and operational deployment
- Align capabilities and CONOPs with DoD stakeholders, end users, and industry partners
