About the Role
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for market analysis while collaborating with product managers, frontend engineers, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions. Improve reliability and maintainability, participate in architecture and code reviews, document systems, share knowledge, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend development experience in internet-scale environments
- Strong system design and engineering capabilities
- Proficiency in Java
- Computer science fundamentals
- Experience designing and leading complex consumer-facing systems
- Experience with growth or operations platforms
- Familiarity with MySQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Redis
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of service governance frameworks
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of multithreading, network models, and JVM memory architecture
