About the Role
You will manage environmental, health, and safety compliance for transmission and distribution facilities. You will monitor regulations, prepare compliance reports, conduct inspections and audits, maintain environmental programs, coordinate incident responses, deliver training, investigate incidents, and identify operational and environmental-risk improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Natural Sciences, or a related field
- Experience supporting environmental, health, and safety programs in industrial, utility, manufacturing, processing, energy, or related environments
- Knowledge of environmental compliance, reporting, permitting, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Experience with environmental data, inspections, audits, or compliance programs
- Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental, health, and safety compliance activities
- Monitor regulatory developments and implement compliance changes
- Prepare, review, and submit environmental reports and compliance documentation
- Conduct facility inspections and assessments
- Maintain environmental programs, plans, and procedures
- Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support environmental permits and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate responses to environmental incidents, spills, and reportable events
- Deliver environmental compliance and EHS training and guidance
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions
- Identify operational improvements and environmental risk-reduction opportunities
