About the Role
You will develop, implement, and improve EHS culture and training programs across occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, process safety, and emergency response. You will manage regulatory compliance, assess risks, investigate incidents, support chemical safety, and maintain emergency-response readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS with 2 years of experience, master’s degree in EHS with 1 year of experience, or high school diploma or equivalent with 5 or more years of progressive EHS experience
- Experience across safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, and compliance disciplines
- Knowledge of OSHA, DOT HazMat, ATF explosives, and environmental regulations
- Experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations
- Ability to influence safety performance through leadership
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain applicable state and federal explosives licenses
- U.S. Person status or eligibility for required export authorizations
Responsibilities
- Manage EHS programs, audits, and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Conduct risk and hazard assessments for processes, equipment, and materials
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Support environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, chemical hazard evaluations, and SDS management
- Maintain emergency-response and HazMat readiness programs
- Coordinate with external agencies and participate on the Emergency Response Team
