About the Role
You will lead environmental compliance, permitting, and performance for the facility. You will manage environmental systems, assess risks, coordinate with regulators and operational partners, oversee the compliance budget and vendors, and improve air, water, waste, and hazardous-material programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of environmental experience
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental compliance across air, water, waste, and hazardous materials
- Oversee permitting, regulatory submissions, audits, inspections, and agency interactions
- Manage the master compliance calendar
- Develop and maintain environmental policies, ISO 14001 systems, emergency preparedness, and internal audits
- Conduct environmental audits and assessments and implement corrective actions
- Manage the environmental compliance budget, labs, consultants, disposal vendors, and environmental specialists
- Prepare environmental reports, track KPIs, and manage incident reporting systems
