About the Role
You will manage EHS compliance, audits, risk assessments, permits, records, policies, metrics, and reporting across U.S. operations. You will translate regulatory changes into practical guidance, support investigations and training, coordinate inspections, and work with operations, construction, and engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of EHS regulatory compliance, risk management, and auditing experience
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and U.S. environmental and safety regulations
- Experience managing audit programs and corrective actions
- Risk identification, assessment, and mitigation experience
- Experience with EHS management systems such as VelocityEHS, Intelex, or Cority
- Ability to work independently across operations, construction, and engineering stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Serve as the EHS regulatory-compliance subject-matter expert
- Design, lead, and manage internal and third-party EHS audits
- Manage the EHS compliance calendar and monitor program KPIs
- Identify, assess, document, and mitigate EHS and operational risks
- Maintain hazardous-waste documentation, permits, licenses, plans, reporting, and records
- Monitor regulatory changes and update policies, procedures, and site guidance
- Coordinate regulatory inspections, enforcement actions, and reportable events
- Develop and maintain EHS policies, standards, and procedures
- Report compliance metrics, audit results, and risk trends
- Support incident investigations and EHS compliance training
