About the Role
You will act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers across Northern Europe. You will lead discovery, demonstrations, workshops, and technical evaluations; design solutions; advise on DevSecOps and cloud practices; and communicate customer feedback to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing roles.
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, DevSecOps practices, and continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts, deployment, security, and operations.
- Ability to lead proofs of concept or proofs of value and contribute to tenders, audits, workshops, and value stream assessments.
- Technical communication and presentation skills for practitioner through senior decision-maker audiences.
- Ability to build trusted customer relationships and advocate for customers internally.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation of GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
- Drive technical evaluations, including solution design, proof-of-concept and proof-of-value ownership, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to execute account strategies for customer acquisition and expansion.
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and guide GitLab-driven transformation.
- Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices.
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Maintain expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies and create reusable technical guidance and collateral.
- Pursue ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
