About the Role
You will design and ship customer-insights features that help customers view, trace, and act on activity. You will set technical direction, produce design documentation, build data collection and stream-processing systems, and own services from design and implementation through testing, rollout, and long-term operation.
Requirements
- 4+ years building and operating production distributed systems or customer-facing backend platforms
- Experience designing and scaling high-volume ingestion and real-time querying data pipelines
- Programming skills in Go, Python, Java, TypeScript, C++, or similar languages
- Communication and technical design-documentation skills
- Data modeling skills with schemas, queries, and relational or non-relational data
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Design and ship core Customer Insights platform features
- Drive technical design, architecture proposals, design documentation, and cross-team alignment
- Partner with Data Platform and Observability teams on data collection and stream processing
- Own significant system areas from design through long-term health
- Write and maintain critical backend and product code
- Identify and resolve risks and blockers across teams
