About the Role
You will develop and integrate autonomy software for emerging aircraft, maritime, space, and logistics platforms. You will integrate platform, autopilot, payload, and sensor systems; validate systems through simulation and live testing; troubleshoot hardware and software issues; support field events; and improve integration tools and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in C++ and Linux-based development
- Experience integrating embedded or real-time software systems
- Experience supporting integration, testing, or operational field events
- Systems-level problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Establish autonomy capabilities on new platforms and mission areas
- Develop and integrate autonomy software for emerging-domain platforms
- Integrate platform, autopilot, payload, and sensor systems
- Develop mission behaviors, multi-agent coordination, and platform-specific control
- Validate systems through software, hardware, vehicle, and live testing
- Partner with platform, autonomy, perception, GCS, and customer teams
- Contribute to design reviews, interface control documents, integration planning, and post-mortems
- Build, configure, validate, and prepare mission-ready systems
- Support flight tests, maritime trials, ground testing, demonstrations, and operational exercises
- Diagnose integration issues across autonomy software, embedded systems, and platform interfaces
- Capture mission data and reproduce issues in simulation
- Implement and validate command-and-control interfaces
