About the Role
Flight3 is seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to lead social strategy and content for up to three clients. The role focuses on LinkedIn and X, executive and founder-led content, technical storytelling, client leadership, and performance-driven recommendations.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in social media, content, or digital communications.
- Meaningful agency experience with responsibility for multiple client relationships.
- Demonstrable expertise on LinkedIn and X.
- Excellent writing and editorial judgment for B2B, executive, and thought-leadership content.
- Ability to understand technical material quickly and explain it clearly.
- Strong knowledge of at least one of fintech, financial services, AI, or Web3.
- Experience interviewing or ghostwriting for founders, executives, or technical experts.
- Confidence presenting strategic recommendations and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple accounts, calendars, and approval processes.
- Practical understanding of analytics and performance-based recommendations.
- Intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and ability to become credible quickly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own LinkedIn and X strategies for up to three clients.
- Define audiences, positioning, editorial territories, platform roles, and content cadence.
- Write social posts, threads, executive commentary, campaign narratives, and founder-led content.
- Ghostwrite for founders and senior executives while preserving distinct voices.
- Interview clients and subject-matter experts to uncover original ideas.
- Lead client meetings, present recommendations, manage approvals, and challenge weak briefs.
- Build trust with founders, communications leaders, and marketing teams.
- Coordinate with internal strategy, creative, design, and production teams.
- Track weekly performance and turn analytics into clear recommendations.
- Connect social performance to reputation, audience growth, share of conversation, and business objectives.
