About the Role

You will advise on responsible technology innovation across complex projects and emerging technologies. You will develop practical recommendations conduct risk assessments provide training mentor project leads examine sociotechnical impacts monitor standards and regulations and produce guidance that supports ethical technology development and deployment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology ethics governance computer science social sciences design law or a related field
  • Experience developing and implementing responsible technology frameworks policies or guidelines
  • Experience embedding ethical legal and social considerations into AI or data-driven solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with design data science engineering legal and business teams
  • Experience communicating responsible technology practices to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience delivering training or awareness programmes
  • Knowledge of emerging deep technology trends and regulations
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence trends and regulations
  • Experience producing guidelines checklists or impact assessments
  • Successful completion of BPSS clearance

Responsibilities

  • Advise on responsible technology innovation
  • Support senior leadership and legal stakeholders
  • Lead responsible technology innovation practice
  • Integrate ethics risk management and harm mitigation into projects
  • Conduct risk assessments consultations and training
  • Advise on applications of emerging technologies
  • Collaborate on responsible innovation research
  • Facilitate internal learning and awareness
  • Monitor responsible technology standards regulations and best practices
  • Examine sociotechnical impacts of emerging technologies
  • Contribute to external engagement and published work
