About the Role
You will deploy to new markets before launch and own early-stage hiring on the ground. You will map talent, benchmark compensation, recruit leadership and critical roles, onboard early hires, maintain Greenhouse data, hand over local recruiting operations, and document lessons from each launch.
Requirements
- 6+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience
- 3+ years of in-house recruiting experience in Africa in high-growth or scaling environments
- Professional French and English fluency
- Experience recruiting in unfamiliar markets
- Experience hiring field and office roles
- Right to work in an operating country
- Passport and ability to relocate across Africa on short notice
- Stakeholder management
- Experience with metrics, KPIs, and spreadsheets
Responsibilities
- Deploy to new markets before launch and lead early hiring
- Build local talent maps and compensation benchmarks
- Own full-cycle recruitment for leadership and business-critical roles
- Onboard initial hires and cover People operations before local People Ops arrives
- Hire and hand over to a permanent local recruiter
- Maintain current Greenhouse data
- Represent the hiring standard to senior candidates
- Document market insights and launch learnings
